Vivid, wonderful characters in a great story. And there's another one from his point of view that I heartily recommend – but should be read second. If you've every wondered what it might be like to be a working girl, this is a delightful glimpse. No judgement, total acceptance of her choice of profession, Cate is a wonder. Frank,funny, bawdy and kind. And oh so capable of love. I really enjoyed the story and thought it a treat to be able to read it again from his perspective. Double the fun – and answered a lot of questions while expanding the fun of the story. Great atmosphere and characters...highest recommendation. Only problem is trying to find another of her books that's about something other than cowboys or soldiers, not my preferred settings.

Very original, well written, interesting, addictive and hot, i loved it!!! A mix of pretty woman and memoirs of a geisha , this book will bring out emotions and questions but also make you wonder if the "prince charming" notion can be apply in all sides of society! I loved every minute of it!!! Quite singular and peculiar it was a pleasure to read!!! I really can't wait to read the sequel!!!
I've always liked Cat Johnson, but is the best book yet. So much happening with never a dull moment.
I am smitten with John Hamilton. Started reading his story half way through this story and read them simultaneously. John is a man any woman could love.
Cate showed strength for a leading lady. I really liked this character.
I liked everything about this book. Truly a unique and original plot.
Wow!!! This is a powerful story. While reading the story of Cate and her life working in one of Nevada's bordello's I found myself thinking the old saying "there but by the grace of God go I". Cate's life choices are plain and do make sense to her and as she encounters the man who changes who she is inside and her beliefs in herself. I was profoundly happy for her HEA ending. Great read!
I loved this story. John and Cate must remove the wall around their hearts in order to let love in. Both feel, for Cate her profession and for John reasons unknown; they do not deserve love. When emotions become high and jealousy becomes a huge factor; a decision must be made. Thankfully, at the advise of one of Cate's clients, a decision was made. I loved, what I want to call the partial ending. Please be a book four to let us know John's reasoning and how the true happy ever after "Pretty Woman" ending could be.
I enjoyed the Cat Haus parts 1-3 so much that I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I absolutely fell in love with both Cate and John. The characters were well developed and became real to me. Cate and John’s worlds were so different but yet they helped each other in a way no one else could. A true HEA in my opinion. I hope that the “Billionaire Bad Boy” series continues. I would like to know what happens after and I would also like to read a story about the well developed secondary characters Sahara and Ty.
This series is not like Cat’s “Cowboy” or “Military” series however I think Cat did an AWESOME job in telling Cate and John’s story. I most defiantly would recommend this book to others.
I read Cat Haus - the complete story in one day. I couldn't put it down. Cate and the mysterious John are fascinating characters. Even the secondary characters leap off of the page. I am so looking forward to the release of the prequels, which tell Cate and John's story before they met. I hope Ms. Lane considers devoting books to some of the other characters like Sahara and Ty. I am completely hooked on these characters and their story world.
Very interesting book! Entertaining and educational too! Cat puts us into the dynamic of a legal "cat house" in Nevada.
She makes us care for Cate and understand how someone would pick this as a career. The interaction with the other girls and the Johns is really interesting. Love finds a way to change Cate's life with her own John! Cat surprises with this book totally different than her Cowboys and Seals stories! She is a very gifted writer!
