I loved the first two books in this series. This one I struggled with.
Indiana was such a fun character in the earlier books. She was an outspoken, strong character. Determined to reunite her family. I was really looking forward to learning more about her.
We did finally learn what happened to her, and how her brothers coming to her rescue caused their separation. And it was a traumatic incident for a fourteen year old to go through, for any female to go through. But for something she brushed off and “moved on” from, she sure held on to the aftermath for years. How she felt responsible for her brothers actions and him ending up in prison. Thus the sibling separation.
For a good portion of the book, Indy is waffling between two men, Will (who I really want to know more about), and Oliver.
Will pulled his typical “I’m no good for you” disappearing act. Moving aside for the right guy to step in.
I liked Oliver, he really redeemed himself from the last book. I loved his growth, getting out from under his snobby, controlling mother, getting back to his painting. Dealing with his brothers death seemed to be what he needed to move forward.
What I didn’t get, was any connection between Indy and Oliver. They only saw each other on or around the holidays starting with Halloween and going through Easter. When they were together, they argued and Indy whined about her oldest brother still being gone. They didn’t speak in between. Yet they “loved” each other. I get, love at first sight and chemistry but I missed the romance of getting to know each other, spending time and talking to each other. There seemed to be large chunks of their story missing.
Unlike the first two books, I’m not sure this one could be read as a standalone, you really need the previous books to fill in some of their backstory.
I did love the update with Ten and Kaylie. So sweet.
While this was not my favorite of the series, I will continue on to the next book.

I want more! Couldn't put them down. Read the three Hope Springs Novels one right after the other and can't wait to read the 4th. Great connected stories. Like that each is totally different in that there is the cafe, the charity, and the farm.
Liked the books in this series. This author is worth looking for.
The third in this series is a joyous continuation of this delightful series of love, family, and life. The characters once again charming and all lovely and handsome. The story is warm and lovely with love stories and family secrets.
Oliver and Indiana both need to accept that their past actions didn't cause the outcomes for their brothers. We all are responsible for ourselves and acceptance of this fact brings them together finally. The author's characters come to life and are so relevant. Can't wait for the next Hope Springs story!
Hope Springs, just loving this series. The thought of family, that has always been close, even with struggles but always trying their best for each other.
I just finished reading this book today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoy books like this that are well written and makes you feel good when I get to the end.
This is (I think) the third of the Hope Springs series. They are all pleasant reads, with satisfying endings. Love triumphs, etc. There are some insights along the way as the characters face their issues and overcome them. In this case, the heroine has allowed her anguish over her missing brother rule her life. Likewise, the hero has also had to deal with family issues. Together, they face their insecurities and find happiness. It also obviously sets up Will, the rather mysterious ex-con, for a future book.
